All bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diapers include a small, lightweight insert for newborns and a larger one-size insert for your growing baby. When your baby outgrows the newborn insert, it works as an overnight booster or as extra absorbency for heavy wetters.
Cloth diapering has never been so easy!
bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diapers feature our patent pending butterfly closure system to provide a comfortable, trim fit. This simple design makes cloth diapering as easy as using disposables. The familiar design makes bumGenius one-size cloth diapers perfect for care providers who might be resistant to cloth diapering (including daycares).
bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diapers fit most babies from 7 to 35+ pounds. No more sorting by size or having to carry multiple diapers when going out. Three snap-downs on the front of the diaper* allow you to easily adjust the size of the diaper as your baby grows. For newborns, fold down the insert stopper for an extra-small rise.
Only the Best for Your Baby
The soft, waterproof outer fabric keeps the diaper trim on your newborn and toddler. Soft, sueded inner fabric gently wicks moisture away from your baby's skin. Super stretchy, gentle leg and back elastic with rolled out casings keeps the yuk in and help to keep red marks away. Our unique covered* slot opening keeps your baby protected from moisture.

Everyone talks about how great BumGenius Pockets are so I finally decided to try them. I just don't like the fit and since my baby is on the bigger size settings all I see is buttons on the front - soooo many unsnapped buttons! It just looks uncomfortable. Performance-wise seemed average - no leaks in a couple hours of wear. There are other brands of pockets that work much better for us. We prefer Fuzzibunz and Charlie Banana which use adjustable elastic for the rise sizing instead of rise snaps.

The microfiber DOES build up odor over time. I'm dealing with ammonia odors, only on microfiber, not with any other fabrics. So if you buy lots of mf, prepare to deal with stink eventually.

Great but not for overnight
These are my first cloth diapers and they are great because they stay dry and the inserts pull the moisture away. However, not for night time. Twice my LO has leaked with these diapers even if I double the inserts. Overall, great diapers, a little bulky I have to say but its great.

I LOVE the bumgenius diapers for my 6 week old. The only issue that I've had was that they didn't fit her until about 3 weeks old when her legs chunked up a bit to create a secure leak-free fit. The colors are great, the newborn insert is super absorbent, I love the snaps AND the Velcro, and they come out clean as can be with my homemade laundry soap. I totally recommend these!

I've been using BG 4.0 for about a year now. They've been fabulous! Definitely don't leak like some other diapers I've tried and are easy to wash/stuff. However, I have two main issues: (1) Velcro. DON'T BUY IT!! The velcro is not sturdy and does not last. Plus, baby can easily undo the velcro. Stick with the snaps. (2) Stinkies. I have hard water, and the microfiber has developed a definite funk over time. I have to bleach the inserts once a month + use Hard Rock detergent with the Ammonia Bouncer. I'm moving toward diapers with non-microfiber inserts, but I'll definitely hang on to my BG snaps as part of my stash.
