Yes, you likely want to use a diaper cover since our cloth diapers are made of absorbent materials inside and out.
We recommend our Marvels Covers or Wool Covers.
The tag goes outside, in the back to avoid irritating delicate skin.

Did not like
She would soak these and they smelled horrible after she would use them. They were cute and soft when we got them but after washing them before use, they lost some of there softness. I traded them in for some oh katy's and other pockets which we like way more than a fitted and a cover.

great for small babies
My baby was quite small at birth (5lbs 4 oz), and these were the only diapers in my stash that fit her well other than preemie prefolds. They worked great - even on the newborn blowouts!

We love our kissaluvs
We used the kissaluv newborns for my son and they are amazing! They were our first cloth diaper and we were a little nervous but we literally never had one leak! They do a great job of holding in ebf poops. The snap down front stays away from the umbilical cord stump. They are super soft and squishy and I felt really good about putting my new little guy with his sensitive skin in them. we used them with thirsties size 1 covers and it worked great.
