I got my first Grovia nb aio used and it has always been my favorite, so I had to buy more. I seem to be the only person who really loves these diapers and doesn't have any problems with them.
It really comes down to fit.the only time I've had leaking issues is when I put it on a bigger setting on my daughter and she peed out of the leg gap (ha). I had one wicking incident with a new diaper, because I just boiled it and washed once instead of prepping completely. They've been through 2 washes now and no wicking. I have the new hemp/cotton/fleece mix. They fit from birth (6#5oz) and are stretchy enough they'll make it to 10# at least, which is probably 2 months for my little baby

Might be better for girls
DS was able to pee out the top of these so I didn't get much use out of these. I don't feel comfortable positioning his junk but they might have worked alright if he was pointed downwards. He only wore them a couple of times because when I would feed him I would always end up getting peed on. It wasn't an absorbency issue though.

I have the older style of this diaper (exactly the same, minus the fleece). They are all cotton, all the way to the edges. They were the perfect NB diaper UNTIL my baby wet, and it wicked out of the leg openings. Cotton is marvelous, however, it does not "stay dry". You will notice that these have sort of a ruffly edge (really cute, yes, but not functional), exposing the cotton inner. So I imagine this new style has solved that problem, therefore making it the perfect NB diaper. If you're hesitant about it not having a snap-down rise, no worries. GroVia did this on purpose, bc the diaper itself has a lower rise. My little guy was 9 lb. at birth, and these diapers still fit him at eight weeks old. I expect we'll be able to use them another couple weeks. Go for it!

Grovia Organic Newborn AIO
I bought many different types of AIO for my newborn and this has been my least favorite. The heavy cotton is absorbent but does not dry very well. It is very cute, with an adorable print and small on my little man, but the way the material feels is not my favorite.
