What is BUTTer?
Originally designed as an all-natural, less expensive alternative to the ointments you find on a typical grocery store shelf, our formula is unscented AND cloth diaper friendly. (None of our customers have had any staining or repelling issues.) Our BUTTer is soothing for baby and also aids in the easy, smooth clean-up of dirty diapers.

Stick o' BUTTer:
The glide-on version contains the same
ingredients as the original BUTTer (in different proportions), except
there is no lanolin. This is an easy and convenient new way to apply
your CJ’s BUTTer®. The small size comes in a handy 0.75 oz ‘propel’ (screw-up) tube and
the Large Stick o’ BUTTer comes in a 2 oz screw-up tube! Like our
Spritz o’ BUTTer, these are perfect for on-the-go or for
rationing/limiting the amount of cream your daycare uses daily so it
won’t go to waste. They’ll thank-you for the mess-free application,
too!
In our experience, anyone
who has had repelling with cloth diapers, possibly due to CJ’s, has been
using it in conjunction with a natural -baking soda based-
detergent. While very few users of natural detergents (or any users at
all for that matter!) experience problems, we recommend that if using
CJ’s in conjuction with a baking soda based detergent and
especially diapers made with synthetic materials, adding either a
capful of bleach every so often to your wash routine, or adding an
additional surfectant such as Dawn or Simple Green, combined with HOT
water, will reduce the chance of any kind of repelling issues.
*Any flavors or
fragrances not specifying that they are either EO’s (essential oils) or
‘all natural’ are synthetic and are NOT all natural. The manufacturers
of these fragrance oils do not disclose their ingredients, and are not
required to. They are all phlalate-free, but beyond that, we do not know
what the ingredients are. As always, in order to live up to the ’All
Natural’ name, and avoid any synthetics, we always recommend using
natural/unscented products.
Bottom line: This stuff is amazing!! I received a sample of the Vegan Sweet Bay Rose cream with one of my orders and coincidentally my daughter was fighting a rare and stubborn diaper rash (cloth diapered babies rarely get them) after a course of antibiotics. I had tried all my other diaper creams and even resorted to putting her in Seventh Generation disposable diapers so I could use zinc oxide cream and nothing was working...that is until I tried my CJ's BUTTer. After one application her rash was better and by the third it was barely noticeable. I am hooked now and even use it on my Winter-chapped knuckles. I recommend this product to everyone now!

Really is for everything!
When I read this was sometimes called the "Miracle Cream" I was pretty skeptical, but it really is amazing! Our son hasn't had diaper rash yet so I cannot comment on that aspect, but we used it on his cradle cap/baby acne (it was all over his head, face and neck) and it was gone in 2 days! After that I used it on my 3 year olds eczema and have seen a signficant improvement. I also used to releive post partum soreness and it's great. LOVE, LOVE this product!

I purchased the monkey farts stick o' BUTTer after it was highly recommended everywhere I looked for cloth. It smells amazing, and the stick makes for easy mess-free application, I want to try more scents!!

BUTTer-ific!
I love this stuff! I got a free sample (yay) of the unscented CJ's Stick o' BUTTer with my purchase, and am so glad. My baby boy has sensitive skin and can't tolerate anything with scents or additives, and this stuff keeps his tushy soft and smooth. I use it before each diaper use and haven't had any rash's or repelling problems with my diapers. If you don't have it... Get it!

Amazing
This stuff works WONDERS, and is the only diaper cream I will use now. Collecting all the variety of scents is almost as addictive as collecting cute fluff. :)
